Slate steps lead to the Main Front Terraces and Entrance doors. These open into a large, vault-beamed kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has many original Canarian features whilst still offering modern conveniences. There is an integrated oven and microwave, modern touch screen electric hob, dishwasher and fridge. All units are fully fitted with solid wood doors. This whole area is very spacious with an additional niche for a 3 seater sofa and windows with Canarian internal shutters. Toward the rear of the kitchen, through the archway, is a Utility room with additional matching fitted units and a large freezer. To the right of the archway is a modern bathroom with sink unit, WC and sunken bath.
The Glass Archway doors lead up to the Main Lounge with marble flooring and an original feature Wood-Burning Fireplace on a black granite base. The Lounge also has a vault-beamed ceiling, original ornate brass central light and accommodates a 3 seater sofa, 2 seater sofa and single armchair, positioned around a large coffee table. Again, this room is very spacious with views over the gardens through new, traditional Canarian wood, windows that have been protected with double glazing and internal shutters.
Another Frosted Glass Archway doorway leads into the Master Bedroom with beamed ceiling and a featured, traditional Canarian Window-Seat looking out toward the Conservatory and gardens. This sizeable room accommodates a king-size bed, cabinets and a large fitted `sliding-door’ wardrobe. The floors are the same marble as the Lounge and the quaint rear Canarian windows allow cool breezes to flow through the room on hot summer nights. An air conditioning unit has been fitted which also converts into a heater, if require, for the winter months.
The en- suite bathroom has several solid wood cupboards, granite top sink unit, WC, bidet and large shower unit. The entire room is tiled in white with an elegant patterned border that also frames the mirror.
The Conservatory has newly fitted, wood-effect, aluminium sliding doors. From this room you can sit and enjoy the views of the entire Front Terraces and Mature Gardens below.
The Courtyard House follows on from the Conservatory and opens onto a large upper enclosed, Private Courtyard. Otherwise known as the second en-suite bedroom, it is completely separate from the main house, with its’ own front door leading into a small kitchenette with fitted wood units, sink and granite work top. The main bedroom is large with two featured Canarian shuttered windows, overlooking the courtyard and gardens.
The en-suite bathroom is completely tiled in a mosaic theme, with walk-in shower, WC, and sink unit.
The Terraces here are all under cover a lead into the Upper Courtyard. Here you can enjoy BBQ’s, dine Al Fresco or simply relax with a glass of local wine whilst taking in the views of the Mountains ranges above, the peaceful gardens in front and the Ocean views below. Truly a little piece of ‘Heaven on Earth’!
The swimming pool is similar to an ‘infinity pool’ with fabulous, uninterrupted views across the barranco directly down to the coastline beaches of El Medano. It is fully heated all year round and is controlled by both electric and also solar heating units. Normally the temperature is kept at a balmy 28C – 30C!
